hi from pgh pa, bronco 2, manual tranny bad

hi to everyone
1st timer, with a mitsubishi 5 speed problem, its not the clutch, throwout or pilot.
Noisy when driving, metal came out of tranny. Small slivvers.
I'd like to rebuild myself but don't know how much to replace.
Anyone with guidance or a site with details on manual tranny rebuild would be appreciated. Most sites lead you to pulling the tranny and go to reinstallation but no details on rebuilding.
I have time because the vehicle is used by my two sons in college and I'd like to have it done for them at Thanksgiving when they come home.

Thanks

The reasone thet dont give you a how to rebuild is space on the site, also is a lot easrer to get one frome a junkyard to replace the one you have.I would try to find one there first. It will probale be cheaper in the long run then to buy the parts you need{if you can find them} for yours,JMO Welcome to
