I have tried this combo and it does not see to have any effect on my truck, I wanted to ask for those that ahve done this did you go back to stock then and for how long? Then install the predator and wait how long before installing the edge? Any of you who have done this did you see a significant gain over the edge alone? Any dyno numbers or track ET. ANy help would be great.
I too would be interested. I run the Edge and have been very happy with it. I would like to alter my shift points and have considered stacking but fear that it may screw things up.

can you jsut adjsut the tranny with the predator?
when you say adjust the tranny, you mean ?????
and stacking is something I won't ever do... but some have depper pockets than mine

I was shooting to say tranny for transmission but after checking what else TRANNY stood for I may want to see a shrink to see if I have some suppressed event from my childhood.
I wanted to see if I could set the shift to be firmer without adjsuting the fuel and timing. i.e. let the edge tune the engine and just use a tuner to mode the transmission.

ah heck... I'm not the one to talk to about this...
let me tap psd on the shoulder he's done some stackin...
course he is on his second engine now so maybe he won't this time
You can stack safely, if you use your common sense. Loading the predator shifting on top of the edge program (no predator engine tuning, just shift and speed de-limiter) should work great. I had both my Edge and SCMT in for a while on the good engine; the SCMT overrides the de-fueled shifts and it works great. The only problem I ran into was the fact that I could'nt load just the transmission program, and the timing was too advanced with both running at the same time. I would not recommend running both engine tunes at the same time, but one for engine and one for transmission should do great.

If you had your choice would you keep the Edge or pull the edge out and go with 100% SCMT or Predator?
I like the Edge but I don't know if a tuner would be better all the way around.
