Key Cylinder Hole
Thanx for your help....Found it! The picture in the haynes book is all wrong.If you have a replacement cylinder, you can eye-ball where the lok pin is hiding on the column.
If you notice where it should be follow, in the molded metal and at about a 45 deegree slant,down towards the floor and foward,that shaft.
The place to put the small punch is under and behind the covering above the tilt arm. I didn't have a short screw driver ,so i used a nail. A little wiggle-wiggle and it was free! Forgot to replace the "chime" wire before I snapped in the new cylinder ....oh well
