antilock? brake problem 97 E-150
1997 E-150 with a 4.6 liter & 4 wheel anti-lock brakes. Occasionally under light braking pressure at low speeds (<10 mph) when I step on the brakes the pedal doesn't go down. I can hear a noise (something like the antilocks kicking in) and if I release the pedal and press the brake again everything is normal.

last winter the anti-locks worked fine, don't recall them being activated since then, the master cylinder and power booster are original, I have not really done any inspection on them yet. I'll give the antilocks a test to see what happens.
