Question Running Board Hanging Bracket Needed

I have a 2001 F250 PowerStroke CrewCab. I ordered it with the Ford chrome pipe (5" or so) running boards. For the Crewcab model there are 3 hanging brackets on each side. They are black synthetic material and attach with 4 screws into the truck body and two screws under the pipe. Believe it or not, in a parking lot someone must have driven by the truck (maybe dragging a trailer)and somehow scraped against the chrome pipe and tore the center hanging bracket on the passenger side off. The chrome pipe cleaned up with some buffing. The only thing left of the hanging bracket was the top and bottom ends where the screws attach it. Ford does not sell the bracket as a separate item but will sell me a new set of running boards with 6 brackets ($450 or so). Can anyone help me find one of these hanging brackets? Thanks.

I had to buy a pair of chrome cab steps from Ford when I damaged one side while deer hunting. I still have the other one and it is taking up room in the well house. It will not fit my '05 that I picked up last Friday.

I will let it go cheap. Let me know if you are interested.

pstroke: I only need the central bracket and mounting hardware. Are you interested in helping me out by selling just the bracket & hardware (6 screws & a couple of clips). Where are you located? I'm in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area.

I would prefer to keep it a complete unit. If I sell the bracket then I will probably never be able to sell it in the future.

$100 will get the entire step. I am in the D/FW area as well.

Let me know if you want it.
