has anyone ever seen a set of the polished aluminum ford racing valve covers for an fe. can buy a 302/351w out of the box with the covers already on the engine but I have a 54 f-100 and I already have a 390 at the machine shop.
I checkout that site almost as much as this one since finding it and I have the last couple of ford racing catalogs and have not seen them. Also went to the local ford racing dealer and he says he has never seen them. Hoping someone has!!!
Cal-Custom, made aluminum valve covers for the FE heads. The pair that I have are the "raised-rib", style. There are quite thick. Very retro looking. I replaced them with stock as I was going for restoration.
If they are the aluminum covers that have the bolt holes on the top, as opposed to the bottom along the intake/head, GTex has a few horror stories to share...
