squeaking

when i go out dirveing and have my rear slider window open i can hear this squeakin from the bed but idk what it is
maybe you guys could help me

Is the squeek steady or does it go squeek squeek or?
It could be a U-joint or like Superrangerman found on his truck, it was a dry pinion seal.

it souds like it comes from the back right when sittin in the cab

I think you probably have a bad U-joint. They might feel ok but if you remove the shaft you might find one seized.

Leaf Springs

You might also check the leaf springs. Appearantly a great deal of F-150s have poor leaf springs and they squeak often. I got firestone to swap out one of the leafs for a stronger model and the squaking is gone. However, it is a harder ride.

I have the same problem. Suspension constantly squeeks when I go over bumps. The only solution is a new leaf spring?

A common problem is worn out insulators between the leaves. Your dealer probably stocks new ones.

Everytime I shut my door I can hear something squeak...I swear my truck is just falling apart!

Let me go over my probs real quick

Clunk in First gear when shifting, but only first gear...
Steering wheel squeals on turns..
Bumpy ride even though shocks are barely a year old..
IMRC sticks open and causes rattle at 2000 rpms

Good thing after next month no more payments....now it will all go toward reparing this bastage!

What do you guys think about a set of tires causing the bouncy ride? They are almost 3 .5 years old...I miss the days when this truck went over anything, even curbs without jarring the occupants!!
