Superchips programmer or Predator??

i have been looking around for a while and trying to decide what one i want. the time is comeing close to buy and i need to know what one is better for me?? superchips or predator.

i have a air intake, cat back exhaust done to my 2002 4.6L so far and i have more mods in plan after the tuner. the truck also has an auto trans.

Either will do the job for your truck now. If you plan mods then the Predator or "Superchips Customer Tuner 9100" ( www.motorhaven.com has those as well) would be your best bet because of the number of changes you can make with them.

i ordered the predator and got it today and the power gain was very noticeable. i am very happy with it. the next thing i am interested in is tuning the program so it will take advantage of my exhaust and air intake and other mods i am going to add. i think i might have to check into the custom tunes they send you over the net.

You problably won't need to get any custom tunes, it has enough built into it for you to do tuning yourself for most minor bolt-ons.

If you want to go with a custom tune, its a toss up between the Superchips Custom tuner and a Predator. Either one will let us load custom tunes into them and let you modify the custom tune. If live data feeds/sensor reads are desirable then the Predator is the way to go.
