Dyno results
Hi Ken,
Duty & Uncle Sam called, had to leave town for a couple months, but now I'm back, and I ran my truck on the chassis dyno on friday. I have the printed results. I did 3 pulls of each 3 switch settings, graphing the average one of the 3. The resulting 3 lines show virtually no difference. I thought at first I had a bad switch, and it was stuck in the center setting, so I removed the switch from the chip, tested the switch with a multimeter, and found the switch to be ok. I then removed the ecm, cleaned the terminals with a green pad until each one was shinny, sprayed a mist of laquer primer over the terminals, let dry a minute, slid the diablo chip on, removed it, and I could see a shiny line from each of the Diablo Chip terminals, getting a good connection. cleaned the terminals with a green pad, reconnected, and retested, same results. Removed the Diablo chip, ran it on the dyno, logged the same results. Any suggestions?

I faxed the dyno sheets to you today, it seems you had a typo on the fax number though I couldn't get through using 678-632-3545, so I called, and was givin 678 623-3545.
Anyway, I was hoping to talk to you today, but you were out of the office when I called this morning, I left you a msg with my phone number, but you must have been too busy today. Will you be able to call me tomorrow?

Best bet is to call and give whoever answers the information. I'm in the process of desperately trying to sell a house right now (been on the market for 6+ months), dealing with the accountant and a bunch of other things and my availability has been spotty. Unfortunately, I get tagged because I'm the front-man even though we have half a dozen other employees. On Thursday I have a 2 hour appointment in the afternoon plus an hour drive each way. Plus a meeting with the landlord in the morning (we need more space!). That's why its 11:10 pm and I'm still working... My employees are competent if you give them the chance... If I'm not in when you call ask for Peggy or Eric. Or you can go to the Motorhaven site and click the live help button (really cool feature). :-) I'll answer if I am there but I can't guarantee anything... and when I end up with 20+ messages at the end of the day I can't return them all.

Hi Ken,
After our discussion on the phone, and after your recommendation, I gathered up the chip, cable, and switch. I put them in the mailbox with your address on it. Looks like the packaged arrived at your place on Friday. The USPS website reports: "Your item was delivered at 2:07 pm on August 27, 2004 in SNELLVILLE, GA 30039.
Just a reminder, cause I'm sure my chip is not the only one comming or going at your place.
Thanks,

Yes, we've looked at it and there's nothing wrong with the hardware. Looking at the tune. In the future use the contact forum on MotorHaven for customer support issues. I'm primarily in the forums for tech issues (I have 3 pay I pay to handle customer support so I'll have enough hours in the day to get my work done. )
