I use ***, like it but A) it's expensive--with TV and internet, my cable bill is just barely under $100 a month. If we didn't need it for business and school, I'd probably go down to DSL. B) *** has been having a lot of trouble this month, supposedly upgrades but it was going down before that started and so far it's continuing. Lost my connection about ten times this morning so far, major PITA. OTOH, sometimes I go months without an outage. It seems like it works all the time except when you really, really need it to, then it's out.
I use *** and I really like it. The difference between it and my old webtv is like night and day. The total for my service and the cable is just under $100 also.
I have been running SBC for a bout a year now and have NO problems at all. Even when I moved the transfer was seamless. After your first year is up and they try to raise your prices just call them and tell them you are leaving unless they give you the current promo. It works
I've had *** for two years and I am mostly happy with them. My service went down this morning too, along with my cable, but overall, it's good. My only complaint is that there tech support people aren't the friendliest, and they normally can't fix my problem.
I have had *** for about a year and when I was hooking it up I found out I had to have an ethernet card and when I tried to install it I some how messed up and I called *** and they walked me through the install of my ethernet card and my modem and they diddn't act or sound anoyed at all. That impressed me!!
*** includes (I think) 10 mb per address, max of 6 or 7 addresses per account. So, if you're creative about how you create e-mails and use those separate accounts, and link your pages between them, about 60-70mb total. I don't think anyone counts the number of actual pages--pictures will take up a lot more room than html files.
