Unhappy Bad Weather

I dont know if anyone else is getting bad weather but i heard that Brush Creek is up 7 Feet in an hour and I-35 is flooded at Lamar and Southwest Bloulvard<sp> and its only getting worst. I know here in Olathe we aint had much rain till about an hour ago but my mother lives in Overland Park and she said her whole driveway was like a lake!! That dont happen umless its rainin hard. Anyways i blew up my raft just incase we get flooded out here and have my trollin motor charging so i dont have to row!!

Anyway just wanted to let everyone know what kind of weather we gots up here in KC!!

It looked like it missed us tonight. Had rain for about 5 minute. Not like the other night when we got 6 inches in about 3 hours.

Well the rain got me again this summer. I worked 5 hrs Monday before rained out, no work Tuesday, or Wednesday, Thursday the Asphalt plant was down cause was struck by lightening, and now rained out on Saturday, all and all the rain has cost me about $20,000 so far in 2004!

I hope everyone made it through lastnight's storms ok. We really missed the big part but heard areas to the east got hit and hit hard.

It was pretty calm here. We sat out in the driveway with the neighbors and drank beer til about 11. Had a nice cool breeze

A little lightning, a few drops on rain. Nothing exciting. Weatherbug sure showed a lot of red southeast of us though, I'd guess Derby, Mulvane, etc., caught it pretty good.

Yes Mitch things usually are my fault.

I even waxed and detailed it yesterday. Thats why it poured like it did.

Watch out I washed it again today. Lets hope I don't get rained out tonight.
