Did the np435 ever have a yoke that stayed with the driveshaft? If so could someone tell me where to get one? I hope there is one available because finding a driveshaft that is exactly the right length is turning out to be pretty hard.
I suppose a better question to ask is will the fixed yoke and the slip yoke for the np435 interchange? if so what models had a slip yoke so I know how to get one.
So I must find a driveshaft the exact length or change the output shaft to one for a slip yoke, Correct?
If i am lucky enough to find a one peice driveshaft (that's what it has now) that is the right length, are there any other issues that need to be addressed? or does the fixed yoke 435 have to have a drive line with a carrier bearing?
Sorry for so many ?'s. This is my first go round with manual trannies. With my luck the way it is I probably should have had another t18 shipped in.
