74 390 distributor: timed or full vacuum

74 390 distributor: timed or full vacuum
Hi everyone,
I have a 1974 Ford F-100 with a 390. I have just swapped out the two barrel for a edelbrock 4bbl. I had one of my friends help me and he removed the carb before checking if the distributor vacuum was full or timed vacuum. I am not sure what I need to use on the edelbrock as it has a full and timed vacuum port. Any comments are appreciated.
