hello, I'm new to the site. I own a 1975 Ford F-100. It needs some carburator work done (I think). She doesn't want to get over 45 mph.

what do you think my truck is trying to tell me-please help. I have a 1975 ford f-100 it's hard to keep her cranked until she gets warmed up. Blows smoke when revving up engine to keep her cranked. Belts squeal when accelerarted, and only runs 45 mph. I would love to at least drive the speed limit-open to all suggestions, please help

Hi Jim, welcome to FTE!

Have you looked in the forum listed for your vehicle? If you post your questions in the right spot, someone out there can probably help you a lot quicker than up here in the "Howdy" forum.

As to your problem..there could be any number of reasons..so find the right forum, post your question and you'll get a bunch of suggestions as to what to look for, if not the correct answer right off!
