Driver window won't go down
My driver window quit working the other day on my 2000 expo. When I hit the button I can hear a click coming from under the dash by the fuse panal so I am guessing that the fuse is not blown + I believe the fuse also powers the other windows and they all work. Could it possibly be the auto window down relay ? Or should I figure on it being the motor and is it difficult to get to once the door panal is off ? Any help would be appreciated.

My driver's window will occasionally get stuck in the down position (I also hear the click you hear). Happened maybe five times in 5 years/115,000 miles. My not-so-high-tech solution is a good whack just below the arm rest/door handle. This only works while the window switch is being pressed. I'm guessing that maybe it allows the teeth in the track to catch on the teeth on the motor, but who knows. One of these days it'll prolly stick in the down position or I'll just finally get the time and energy to pull it apart. Maybe yours will respond as well just in the other direction! Good luck.

My 99 F-150 did the same thing with the clicking sound coming from under the dash and the passenger side window will go down. There is a relay/fuse under the dash in the fuse box. It cost about $7.00 to replace. You should also check the fuse in the power distribution box under the hood. I pulled the old one and replaced it with a new on and checked in the parking lot of the dealership, but it did not work. I asked how much was the button assembly and they stated it was $109 and I said that I will trouble shoot it when I get home. I pulled off the switch assy. and cleaned the contacts and low and behold it worked. You may want to try this before you buy the relay.

Thank you for the info and ideas Aztrainer & EB2000. Aztrainer is the relay/fuse you are talking about the auto down relay ? The power window fuse is I believe for all of them and only the driver window is giving me a problem.
