Does this mean it comes on all 2005's? If so, how do you operate it?
I'm looking at Lariet F-250 4x4, diesel, SB, CC. I would like the idle controller not for PTO, but for giving my trailer batteries a quick charge - I'm getting tired of having to throw my briefcase onto the accelerator pedal
Yes, I'm sure it is. I'm test driving someone else's new truck and the OM is still in a sealed plastic bag. I'm not going to rip it open. Hence the questions to the group.
Drove another F250 today and a Chev 2500 back to back. To me the Ford seemed noisier, but rode better. The F seemed to just drive, the C seemed to have a skittish-ness at slow speed and have a very herky jerky throttle. Had the Stone (a dark gray) F-250 truck they had in stock been white, I could have had an expensive afternoon.
