what does every one think about putting a 78-79 bronco body on a 73-79,
f-100 frame 2x4 and rakeing it a little and making a drag bronco? . thought it would be cool since they never made a full size bronco in a 2x4. big sliks and skinnys up front and a LOT OF H.P. just an idea. hehehe
Oh, I thought you were talking about dressing your Bronco up in high heels and wigs.
That would be really cool to see a raked Bronco on the drag strip. Don't know how much work it would be or what's involved but it sounds good . . . for a 2wd.
would probably be similar to the 2wd blazer from back in the day. wouldnt it be easier to take out the front axle and transfer case and put a 2wd front under the bronco? that might be a thought unless your wanting to put some cash into it and throw ifs under the front end. it probably wouldnt be too hard since i've seen truck cab on bronco frames.
doesnt a bronco have the same wheel base (hub center to hub center) as a short bed straight cab. I measured the lenght of my f150 short bed to a buddies project bronco and the bodies have a few inches of difference and a truck bed has longer area behind the wheels.
