I did search for the answer, no luck........ After a 6" lift, I am blinding people left and right. Anyone adjust their headlights after the lift? Directions?
I suggest taking the truck to a garage that has headlight aiming equipment. In Maryland vehicle inspection stations are required to have a machine and charge $20-$30 to aim the headlights. Even when properly aimed, with a 6" lift your going to be blinding people.
You will blind people sitting at traffic lights, or tailgating them. Not much you can do about it. I've had my share of birdies flicked at me, oh well.
If you want to adjust your headlights down, park about 10 feet in front of your garage door at night, turn on the lights, and set them to the height you want. You can see the beam hit the garage, and you can set both lights level that way. Don't aim them down too low, or you won't see anything down the road.
What's really funny is people try to get back at me. They'll pull behind me and turn their brights on. Of course, I can't see their lights behind my tailgate, so it doesn't really bother me.
