Do I have a E4OD???
I have a 93 F150 4x4. My door sticker has the letter 'E' under trans. which I believe is a E4OD. When I was checking the tranny out I found a white steel tag on it that has 'REMANUFACTURED' on the corner so I am not so sure now as far as what I have. The tag has three series of numbers on it. they are
6302-6, R2085236, F2TZ7V000HRM. And does anyone know a website where i can get some good step by step info. as far as replacing this tranny.

Bob Ferguson's got a tranny spotting guide here at the site. Look under tech articles. The pictures are lacking, but the physical descriptions may help. If you search under google for Ford tranny guide or find a site with tranny pans that may be where to start to do a positive ID.
