1997 Explorer
I am considering replacing my wifes 94 Tarus with a 1997 Explorer 5.0L. I have not had much exposure to these, but my truck is a tweeked up 1987, 2.9L BII. What is, if any problem areas with these trucks? My wife will be daily driving it here in AK and it will be used for pulling a small camper on weekends, fishing trips. Looks to be in good shape with 19K miles on it. KBB lists it out at 26K and the asking price is 21K, What do you all think, I looked at a new one tonight
Similarly equiped at 33K.
