MAF Conversion kit?

I know this has been brought up a number of times and I have searched and read post. Someone said they used the Ford MAF conversion kit for Lightning's with EAOD trans on a non lighting truck with no problems, has anyone else tried this kit? I have a 93 Flareside 4x4 w/302 EAOD and would like to build up the motor and improve the performance.
Any problems with the trans or performance?

Did you find the big 6 page thread about MAF conversion? Lindsay I think is the sn of the guy who used the lightning kit for his 5.0. I think he had some pictures of it in the gallery.
