Hello- I've got an older "94 model calling for Automatic Transmisson Fluid T II?
I have reviewed some of the tech posts and debates on the Mercon V synthetics and synthetic blends- and the "dino" fluids. Exactly what present day trans fluid is T II compatible/eqivalent? There seem to be several Mercons - it is all very confusing- and I have read enough posts to scare myself into- doing it EXACTLTY right. This is my original trans and I hope to keep it it in the family for a good while longer. 170k miles and two previous flushes done by mom and pop shops- I want to tackle this one on my own.
Any assistance/advise would be great!
