4WD LOW switch
Maybe I will repeat a question that as been asked, but!!! Is it possible to bypass the switch that says we must come to a complete stop before engaging 4X4 low. I have a 5 spd and button 4X4 switch on a 94. If it's not possible I would like to know why,...there must be a good mechanical reason to be impossible.

Never was told about coming to a complete stop before engaging in 4x4Low I was told that you need to put it in neutral (which you can do while rolling) and that engages and disengages the 4x4 low if you do not you are still just in 4x4 (reg) and you need to re engage neutral to disengage the hubs...Anyway....4x4 Low is for extreme conditions and should only be used for short period of time and for things such as mud,sand, and bogs....it is not good on ice!!
