place your truck in 4wd while either stopped or rolling in neutral. always place truck in 4wd first before putting it in 4wd low. never use 4wd low for long periods of time..(save it for when you are serious stuck problems, mud, and sand) to take your vehicle out of 4wd place truck in neutral again and back up at least 5 feet to unlock the hubs.. you should feel a slight kick... that is the hubs unlocking... sometimes the hub sensor is stuck or malfunctioning..if you feel that kick and your truck feels like its in 2wd(you should notice a difference) then you are in 2wd just get the sensor checked out
