Anyone live anywhere near Elma, Manitoba?
An individual, by the name of ED responded to my Parts Wanted list w/ a complete '58 Mercury M-100 Panel w/ 223 I-6 & 3-on-the-tree.
She's pretty much complete w/ only a few minor pieces missing that are easily replaceable.
The olde girl is now mine & this ED is willing to let her stay there for up to a year while I make room down here in Pasa California for her.
I'm hoping to get some work done on her before I move her down here.
A Canadian FTEr here stated that there were a pluthera of 262 I-6's just setting around because no one wants them.
Would you & those 262 I-6's be anywhere close to Elma, Manitoba?

Well I said there was a lot of the 63-64 grain trucks that go for cheap and many of them have 262's. Not many farmers want a 40 year old truck to haul grain and grain trucks aren't exactly hot rod material. I know a place that probally has an engine but Elma, MB is 522.51 miles away from me.

Thank'ee for the heads-up eariler on the engines, It was just a thought.
Ahhh, but the engine has such potential though, if built right.
Just the same as I, everyone seems to live out in 'Tim-Buque-Too'.
If it's a '64 & if you've room to sit on it till I can make arraingments to get it to Elma?????????
There's evidently a freighting site on the Net & haulers don't care to make empty runs to pick something up, Just a thought.
