98 - 4x4 problem
I have a 1998 F150 5.4 supercab with 55,000miles (85,000km) on it.
This past weekend -- used 4x4 lo to pull out something -- and the truck would not come out of 4 wheel low...had to disconnect the transfercase motor several times in order for it to disengage.....
My question has any one else experienced this and if so what did you do.

I have a 98 f150 5.4L xcab with 80,000 mi and I haven't had and problems with my 4lo. It just makes a really loud "pop" and click going into and out of 4wheel lo.
I would take it to the dealer for all of that.
