Flashing "off" light fixed

Flashing "off" light fixed
After searching this site for some time and having the flashing overdrive off light I finally got it fixed.
I borrowed a code reader and it wouldn't pull any codes. Next stop was a buddy who works in the fleet dept. at work. He used the Ford scan tool and pulled a "P1746" code. Pressure control solenoid A open circuit. He suggested pulling the pan and checking the solenoid pack. I did that and everything looked ok, fluid was still nice and clean, nothing in the bottom of the pan. After talking to him again he called Ford and they had the solenoid pack on the shelf,
$246.00. Luckily his cost was $185.00 
. Put it in over the weekend and put about a 100 miles on it today and it's never shifted better. Before I couldn't get 1/2 mile down the road before the flash and hard shifts. Now it's perfect. Downshifts alot better climbing back up the mountain, too.
