I have 75,000 miles on a '01 F250 V10. The Haynes manual says to replace the coil packs at 60,000 miles, and I was thinking they could probably go to 100,000. The dealer wants $116.50 a piece for them!! Are coils one of those things you can change only if they aren't working, or should I swallow that $1200 and do it now? If so, is there a cheaper alternative?
