Power window motor replacement
Hello All, I searched the forums and found several threads on the wiring for these motors, but I need advise on replacing the motor on my 93. I removed the 3 nuts but the motor doesn't wanna budge. My Haynes doesn't indicate that I need to remove the regulator, just the 3 nuts. Any ideas?

Are you sure you removed the right things. As I remember taking out the motor on my 94, I had to drill 2-3 holes and using a socket with an extention I removed 3 bolts. The window was up. Took my hand and reached in and the motor just popped out.

Yep, that's exactly what I've done so far - drilled 2 1/2" holes and removed all 3 (well actually they fell down to the botton). The window is up but the motor doesn't want to move. The backing metal on the door panel is cracked, but I read a thread here that says that's a common issue.
When you removed your, did it first move forward (or backwards) or did it move straight out toward the outside of the door?
