I am geting ready to add a flowmaster 40 on my 2003 3.0 Ranger. Does anyone know what the intake should be. 2" or 2.25"? What about the outtake? Also I will be dumping it right before the rear tire and was wondering if single or dual would matter in performance or sound.

2-2.25 is good for single, 1.75-2 is good for dual exhaust.

My dual uses 2 1/2" and ppl say it sounds mean for the little 3.0 but I got the Magna flow dual exhaust one. if I got the single would of came with a 3"
