I HAVE A '94 FORD EXPLORER W/TOW PACKAGE AND HAVE FACTORY HARNESS TO PLUG INTO A TRAILER. I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME LOCATE THE PLUG ON THE TRUCK THAT WOULD PLUG INTO THE FACTORY HARNESS THAT PLUGS INTO THE TRAILER.
ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME!
Ok ,
The wiring plug for the trailer on your Explorer should be a round plug . If the trailer has the flat pin , you ll need an adapter to connect the two pins . Lots of places have them ..U haul , etc ..any place that sells or deals in trailers .

Thanks for your help. I had someone at U-Haul look at my truck. He says the factory screwed up in that they didn't give me everything that was needed for a complete tow package (i.e., there is no plug on my truck to plug the harness into) He sold me a kit to wire it myself. Everything is working fine.
