neutral safety/back up switch
I'm hoping someone can help me. I put a 89 I-6 efi in my 86 F150 in place of an 86 I-6 carb. I swaped every wire in the truck. dash, gauges, and the engine almost starts but I think the neutral safety switch has to be hooked up for it to start,not sure. The 4 wires on the 86 are different colors than the 4 wires on the 89 harness. any suggestions on how to do this.
