manifold clearance?
I gave my son a 351 from an old rusty Bronco I had, to put in his 78 F100, 2WD, auto, when we pulled the engine fron the Bronco I noticed the frame on the passenger side had been notched out for the exhaust manifold to clear, the person helping him with the swap said the manifolds were different, so they switched it for the one from his original 351,after lowering it in, still has clearance issue,was told by the guy I bought the Bronco from, the engine was originally from an LTD, are the motor mounts themselves different or what, he is dying to drive his truck, but can't get the exhaust manifold to bolt up ??? any thoughts, thanks
