more power

I have a 2002 f150 supercrew fx4 All i have right now is a k&n intake what else can i do to get some more power for speed out of my truck.I was thinking about shorty headers and dual exhaust.Any good brands that you all can recogmend to me.Also a good programmer.

The tuners such as the Superchips and Diablo do seem to make quite a difference.
The mosr popular exhaust systems for these seem to be Flowmaster and Borla.

I have a 98 f150 5.4L, SC, 4x4 and recently had Gibson stainless shorty headers installed and a 3 inch Flowmaster 40 exhaust system. I have not had the truck dyno tested so I can't quantify the HP and torque improvements, however, it is noticibley quicker and sounds great. I have been reading all the posts in the computer chip/programer forum and here to learn about the available chips and tuners and have not reached any conclusion as to the right way to go (for me). Besides the forums, Diablo and Superchips have websites that provide exceptional information.
