my aunt has an aerostar that has been sitting for about 3 years or so , and shes not showing any signs of doing anything with it .
My question is , will a 302 EFI and t-5 fit in there???
if it can , i think it will make a neat little project( engine and trans currently in van are junk , hence , the sitting for 3 years) what do you think???
lemme know something , i know one of you guys have thought about or have already done this!!!!
i think its a 91 but im not sure, it still has sealed beam headlights and not modular, and it has the long back end , not the short one
got no problem with all that , found out late yesterday that the van is going to be gotten for salvage if i dont act soon so i guess that im gonna search around for me a t-5 and a 302 !!!!nothin screams sleeper like an aerostar with a 302 block with a 347 stroker kit with some trickflow parts thrown at it
Hey you can put a V-8 in a motorcycle, you sure can a Aerostar. Just takes good plaining it all out on paper and measure twice cut once. you can bend new sheet metal and weld and grind till your hearts content.
Here's a link from an earlier post about a customized Aerostar offered on eBay that had a V8. It was a beautiful conversion, extremely well done. I doubt if the picture link still works, but just so you know, it can be done. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...ighlight=eBay+

All the links are long gone, sadly. And nothing on the web either. I can't believe no one's talking about doing one like this.
