Is anyone aware of updated front-end alignment specs for the 75' F250?
My 75 shop manual gives camber, caster, toe (listed below) but these specs are often updated by TSB's years after the manuals are published. I already asked the shop who will be doing hte alignment and they don't go back this far.
If anyone has a newer Ford source with updated specs from these, I'd sure appreciate it.
F250,2WD, Twin I beam, Camper special, Super cab.
Caster: +1/2 deg. to +81/2 deg.
Camber: -1/2 deg. to +2 1/2 deg.
Toe in range: 1/32" out to 7/32" in
I have a Motors manual but they only give a spec and not a range. Do you have any stability problems or your front tires wearing unevenly? If everything is ok I would use the specs you got. Maybe talk to an actual guy at a Ford dealer too.
Thanks for the info.... I changed out the radius arm bushings to the Prothane
style plus atempting to cure the last of the road wander is the main reason for doing the alignment.
Guess I'll go with the 30 year old specs and see how it handles, then adjust from there.
