I can not get my a/c to turn on. When I switch it to on nothing happens. I replaced the head unit and the fuse is fine. The blower motor or a/c clutch does not turn on. Before when this would happen I could turn off my truck or wiggle the key and it would work. So I figured it must be in the steering column. I have the wheel off, and all the cam stuff out and the ignition. Is there some sort if diagram that shows me step by step? Thanks!
Well it turned out to be my ignition switch. It went bad and caught my selinoid on fire, I got it put out and all is well. That is why I was having to wiggle the key to get my a/c to work.
south jersey, around the camden area. I usually go to Wharton State Forest with the family. Haven't been out much, I just got my springs all re-done and I'm working on betting the truck ready for the beach next year (IBSP and LBI). Where are you?
Hey jsscart.
Another fisherman?
Have we talked before?
I have my '91 rigged out as a beach buggy.Fish mostly IBSP, but also make annual trips to Cape Cod and Haterras.
Check out my gallery!
Hope to see you on the beach!
im in newton about 10 miles from lake hopatcong.
ive never taken the bronco on the beach, are they anygood or would you have to worry about burying in the sand?
Hey BF,
I lived in Rockaway for a few years and we had dock space at White Meadow Lake.My grandparents also had a summer house at Beaver Lake in Franklin for many years.
The Broncos are great on the beach! The short but wide wheelbase really helps. The main rule to go by is Low and Slow!
I usually take my tire psi down to 18.
And just maintain a steady pace on the beach. It's definitly a blast, but takes some time.
I've seen many inexperienced 4x4 drivers who just put it in 4wd and go at it!
They always end up either airing down after they get stuck,or if they bury themselves, get towed out!
Suds,
I don't think we have ever met. Hopfully I'll be hitting IBSP this fall. (If my wife lets me)
keep an eye on your PM's I'll let you know when I'm heading down or I guess that would be up and over
Sounds good.Do we have PM on this board?Don't think so.Just e-mail me through the site.
