extra tranny cooler

i want to put in an extra tranny cooler, i found two steel tube lines coming from the tranny, one goes to the bottom of the rad and then come out and then goes to the factory cooler and then it heads back to the tranny. i am wondering, which line i tap into, i am guessing not the one going into the rad, so should i tap into it after it comes out from the factory cooler or before the cooler or does it matter as long as it is conected in one continous line??

You are right leave the one coming from the tranny to the radiator alone. Tap into the other one after the existing cooler. run them in series. It should not matter what side you use as they will still flow either way. What kind of cooler did you go with?

Make sure you mount it with the proper hardware not the zip ties.

Fire Rooster is correct, tap it in after the factory out board cooler and before in goes in to the trans.

Go with the Tru-Cool max. Runs about 130.00 comes with all the hardware and instructions. Use the hardware and not the zip-ties. The ties allow for junk/dirt to accumulate between the different coolers and resticts the air flow which causes less cooling. They also over time will wear holes in your condenser too. Thus causin a freon leak .
