gauges

on my 1984 f150 4.9l truck . the oil, water temp, and fuel gauges don't work . is there a spot other than the fuses that i have to check? it seems the they are all connected some how any suggestions?

There is a voltage regulator on the back of the dash that is likely the cause. A small rectangular metal piece that you can buy at the store. I forgot the voltage it goes to and maybe someone else will chime in but it takes the 12 VDC and knocks it down to somewhere around 3-5 VDC.
