Doing valve job on 91 7.3. I was told the exhaust valves grind at 37 1/2 degrees, but do not know what the intake valves grind. Anyone know? Also, what is the torque for the head bolts?

 

Hi according to Haynes manual intake valve 30 degrees, exhaust valve 37.5 degrees. Cylinder head torque 88 thru 91 first step 65 2nd 85 3rd 100 and 4th 100. Intake manifold torque 24. All torque in ft-lbs. Good luck I'll be doing head gaskets and reseating valves and valve seals this week on my 85 6.9. May be back with lots of questions first time tearing into diesel motor. Only concern is pump and timing
