Iam trying to take off the upper intake to replace the valve cover gasket. I got the bolts out holding it on what else is their. I looked in the Haynes book and it shows like two screws but I don't see them. Thanks
If I remember correctly, there are a total of 6 bolts holding the upper intake manifold on, 2 in front, 2 in center, and 2 in back, the one you might be missing is the Tortorx 40 I think) in the center, it's very hard to get at, some people buy a special tool, I just used one hand to put the torx socket on the bolt under the manifold, and then put the extension through the top, as they didn't fit through together. I then replaced it with a regular bolt like the others, which I recommend as it makes it a ton easier to take off now. Was this what you were talking about?
