Tailgate (rear) Window Switch

Hello All,

My 1995 Bronco tailgate window will go up and down ok with the key switch at the back but the inside dash switch does not work. It doesn't seem broke when pressed. Any ideas? and how to remove this switch? Is it a pain?

Thanks,

Scott Kent

It probably is the switch. I bought one for $12 at the local Ford dealership and did it myself. It is really easy to replace the switch. If it is not the switch it probably a short somewhere.

Remove headlanp switch **** and windshield wiper switch **** by releasing know retaining clips and pulling ***** from their switch shafts.

Using a thin-bladed screwdriver carfully pry off lower left finish paniel by starting at upper left corner of finish panel and working counterclockwise around perimeter of finish panel.

Revove the two swithc retaining screws and remove switch from finish panel.

Separate switch assembly from wiring harness by grasping wiring harness in one hand, switch in the other hand and pulling them apart.

You should be able to put it back together from this point.
