Replaced my turbo after putting on a 1.0 housing. Started the truck, checked for leaks and every thing looked good. Started driving her and when I got up to temp. I started seeing a white cloud behind me. Pulled back in the garage and had oil all over the engine and running down the back side. It must be the pedastool o-rings right........ Any other possiblitys???? Well as soon a she cools down I'll start pulling it back apart! Also does anybody have the part numbers for those o-rings. I have to call the dealer and get a set.... or are they regular o-ring taht I can get at any parts store??? Thanks
Duh. I got the leak fixed. After pulling and changing orings on the turbo I found the real leak. Went to try to restart it and check for leaks. Started right off and promptly died. Looked under the hood and found oil every where again. My hpx hose was leaking and you could'nt tell, but after the restart it blew apart. Crazy, it did'nt look like it was bad. Called Dale and got a new one coming. Just put in the old plugs and away we went. I really like the new turbo housing. You can hear the turbo quick and their is quicker response. One final ? on my initial test drive I started to get into the throttle and the cel came on and I lost all power. Pulled over shut it down and restarted and light went away and powers back. Any ideas?? Should be a code in the computer right??
