Yeah. You have to remove the tow hooks. More than likely you'll be towing someone else. I use the trailer hitch for that. You can get someone to weld one of your tow hooks to a trailer tongue, and you're in business.
I know it is personal preference but I love the looks of the Tal and Hadas bull bar. Had one on my sport trac and got lots of compliments on it. I am waiting for the funds to buy one for my 04 FX4 Scab. Very good quality. Comes in Stainless or black finish. No drilling, comes with a bracket. Just take the tow hooks off and put the bracket on and bolt the bull bar on.
