Cyclone intake thingie
Has anyone tried one of these things? I see them all over the place and wonder if there's anything to them... I figure it's just BS but what do I know? Someone prove me wrong. Also what are people paying for TBs from 86-87 2.9Ls? Just curious, I'm in the market for a little low end umph from my '89 BII.

If your thinking of Tornados, they are a waste of money (search tornados). A few months ago, someone offered to give his away (as long as shipping was paid for). I'm thinking of an cold air intake and exhaust, to give me more umph, but the jury's still out.

yeah... I wouldn't mind either of those options, but the $$$ is tight. College sucks as far as fixing up you vehicles goes... I've got a poor '65 chevy c-10 that's rotting in the back yard due to lack of funds... It'll be fun someday though.
