Question

351w piston location?

someone gave me a 351w that had been taken apart and I'm going to rebuild it but I've never rebuilt a 351. everythings pretty basic but I'm not sure which piston is located where. anyone have a diagram or something showing this? I've got 2 books and they show everything but that. Thanks

Clean off the piston top and there will be a small arrow. This needs to point toward the front of the engine. Good luck.

What I meant was #1-#8. is the #1 piston on the passenger side or the drivers side? I think its 1-4 on the pass side and 5-8 on the drivers side< But i'm not sure.

That's correct, 1-4 passenger, 5-8 driver, front to back.
