Order in Temp Delay Status?

Ordered a F250 KR on 11 Aug with the brake controller. Was told yesterday that it was scheduled for production week of 30 Aug. Since I have not sold my 02 yet, I am really not in heat exactly - but would NOT accept the truck if it did not have the controller. Dealer said that Ford had a dealer allocation on these. Ford would be smart to figure out how to install after the fact if the shortage is something other than short term.
