Hog Exhaust

I am installing a cat-back hog exhaust, and I am wondering how close to the shock (and cover for fx4) does the pipe get? It seems to almost touch, and I am worried that it will cause a problem.

If you have any picts or advice, please let me know.

I have the same exhaust and it will touch. I melted a small hole in my
boot. Lower your spare tire, reposition your pipe over the axle, tighten
everything down, and then raise your spare tire back up, shifting it to
the driver's side. I even turned the "L" shaped bracket around to help
hold the tire in place. Works like a charm. I have room to spare between
the shock and the tire .

Thanks!

Did your kit come with 3 pieces of straight pipe, but you only needed one from the cat, then the muffler, then the bent one that goes over the axel? Why the two extra straight pieces?

It was something like that. I have the SC, one pipe was cut from
the manufacturer. You have the cat, a pipe(mine was cut to fit
my particular truck), the muffler, over the axle pipe and then
the exhaust tip. This is the way mine went together.
After you install it and run it for a few days, go back and retighten
everthing. It's an awsome exhaust.
