Personally, I always thought it was lame that they could use your pics without your permission and compensation. I mean, its cool and all that they are using your rig on the their catalogs but heck, I figure if thats the case that even if they didn't pay you they should give you free parts. I always liked sky's pic of you upside down with the caption that you were "testing" out their steering. I wasn't entirely sure that was a clever marketing approach on their end
Sky-Manufacturing.com did ask permission to use the pic at least. But JBG did not. It turns out that superford.org is responsible for that particular ad, & they have a disclaimer about being able to use pics posted on their site for advertising purposes. I don't have a problem with that either, except they are not using it to promote their site. They are using it to promote one of their sponsors.
I agree with Pro on Sky-manufacturing.com's decision to use it for an ad. The tie rods held and the bars where still straight despite the steering knuckle separating, but I doubt people looking at the pic can even tell.
