can some one tell me how do i know what kind of alternator i have(95 or 130)
its a 1992 e150 conversion van with AC 302 5.0 v-8, i need a voltage reg and i didnt know what kind i need. Also when you buy the regulator is it just remove and install are the brushes included or do i need to buy those seperately

I went to partsamerica.com and looked up your vehicle. They have pictures of the various alternators, but I can't tell the difference. They also carry regulators and it seems the brushes are sold seperately.
i don't know about your year but newer units have rectangles in front with 2 holes in each shape those are 130a.
90 amp has 4 holes in squares...looking at the front of the alt.
